M-Series: small footprint, massive capabilities
The M-Series may be the smallest moving gantry CNC router in the C.R. Onsrud line-up, but don’t be fooled into thinking it’s any less of a workhorse than the bigger machines. The same detailed engineering, workmanship, and quality of materials goes into every machine, no matter the size.
It accommodates wood, aluminum, plastics, and ACM, with a 12HP, 24,000 RPM motor doing the work. Every M-Series comes with 24/7 factory remote diagnostics, so you can operate on your own terms knowing support always has your back.
5-Axis gantry
Needing 5-axis capabilities? Start with the popular G-Series moving gantry platform and add a reliable 2-axis articulating head. The C.R. Onsrud 5-Axis G-Series delivers the additional cutting angles you need within a floor-space-saving platform, with the production flexibility to accommodate small or large parts on a single run.
In a customized pod-and-rail configuration it machines not only the top of the material but the sides as well, and a range of optional work-holding devices and fixtures tailor the machine to your operation.
5-Axis gantry standard features
- 4-pole, double arbor support, reversible, 22,000 RPM high torque spindle
- HSK-63F spindle taper and tool holders, with 1 inch (25mm) collet capacity
- Over 24 inches of Z-axis clearance and 29 inches of Z-axis stroke (up to 41 inches available)
- FEA engineered, heavy-wall, all-steel bridge, vertical columns, and table support base
- Standard 12 position, aggregate ready, dynamic automatic rotary tool changer
- C.R. Onsrud high-flow universal vacuum table system with low vacuum sensing
- FANUC CNC controller with large touch screen HMI
- Full 3D capability, helical interpolation, and simultaneous 5-axis motion standard
- Table sizes in excess of 60 feet long and up to 12 feet wide on custom G-Series
