How baghouse dust collectors work
The airflow through bag filters can run from the outside of the filter to the inside, with separated particles collecting on the outside of the bag, or the other way around, depending on the application. Particles are normally captured on the internal surface of the bag filter.
Bag filters are designed to be cleaned when they clog, not replaced. Baghouse dust collectors are normally cleaned manually, by mechanical shaking, by reverse air, or by air pulse.
Replacement dust collection bags
We stock 6 mil plastic waste bags, 50 per roll, in 38″ x 72″ and 33″ x 52″ sizes for Nederman and similar collectors.
